A New Story... with a twist

I was contemplating life and some other stuff and thought to myself... why not share some of this undisclosed space with my fellow interneters? So this is what I'm thinking. I'll start a story; write two or three paragraphs (a hundred words or so) and then whoever comes along next can leave a comment--and continue the story. When we get to a nice ending place I'll compile the story and post it. So be watching and ready to contribute to our commune of creativity.

I know what you're thinking, "Not the attic? What is it then, like the basement?" No. Not the basement either... basements are far too dank and chilly to make comparisons to our blog. This blog is more like an undisclosed space. (look at the url!) Thanks for coming!
This blog has been created to foster creativity. You see... we have been brain farting for a long time about what to do with some webspace. We know we want some, we know how to get it, but we just don't know what to do with it when we get it. So, in hopes of preserving some money--nothing's free you know, not even internetting--we decided to start a blog... because they're free. Anyhoo, we're starting this blog in hopes of generating some kinetic creativity, and we hope to come up with a good, or maybe even a couple good ideas for an actual website. That is why this is NOT the attic... but some undisclosed space that will function like unto an attic. You know... throw all your junk up there and let the grandkids play with it years later. That is also, coincidentally why this is called 'Not The Attic', and not, 'The Attic'... because we hope to be both the packratish grandparents who stuff our undisclosed space full of stuff and the grandchildren who come along and find new and exciting uses. I think this is a great time for a smile... don't you? Ok, thanks for coming and reading this blog and participating in our lives. Come again soon to see what wonders will come to live in this, not the attic, but some other undisclosed space.
